Some 88 out of the 100 schools in earthquake-hit Jinggu County in southwest China's Yunnan province resumed classes on Monday and the remaining schools are expected to resume classes before October 27.

A 6.6-magnitude quake hit Jinggu at 9:49 p.m. on October 7, killing at least one person and leaving 324 injured.
